The most rewarding thing about being a pharmacist is:
Helping customers understand the importance of their medication and seeing how this helps them feel better and live healthier
Who/what inspired you to be a pharmacist:
I grew up in a medical family. My mom is a nurse and stepdad is a Physician/Medical Director. I thought I wanted to be a Physician, but quickly decided after taking the MCAT, that the field was not for me. I wanted a job that I could help patients, but also allowed me to have financial independence. My stepdad worked with a Pharmacist and mentioned that career direction. Since I already had a Bachelors, and pre-med classes completed, I applied to Pharmacy School and the rest is history.
